Paris Hilton Ex-Boyfriend Cy Waits Takes Plea Deal In Drugs Case

Paris Hilton's ex-boyfriend, and nightclub promoter, Cy Waits, has taken a plea deal in connection with the felony driving under the influence of marijuana and misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

Waits was pulled over last summer on the Vegas strip and arrested, and his then girlfriend, Paris Hilton, was also arrested for possession of cocaine.

After Cy's arrest last year, Steve Wynn fired Cy from his co-manager position at XS Encore and Tryst at Wynn Las Vegas. Cy's twin brother Jesse kept his job though.

Wynn released a statement about his decision, that said: "Cy Waits has been separated from the company and is free to pursue other interests. Wynn has no further comment on this matter."

Waits wasn't in court Monday morning for the hearing, but will appear on Wednesday at which time he will formally accept the plea deal. Hilton pled guilty last year to a misdemeanor charge of cocaine possession and obstruction of justice. The hotel heiress is serving one year of probation.

Terms of the Waits’ deal weren't discussed in court Monday.

Smart move. Since it's a first time offense it will be probation. He seems like a decent guy and just look at all the c r a p Lindsay has gotten away with over the last years.

I forgot Paris Hilton is on 1 yr probation now. To her credit, we haven't heard much about her having probation problems, like breaking the rules, being hauled back to court, like Lohan.

I was thinking the same thing. Her probation should end by this month, she hasn't had drama for a whole year LOL.

how on earth could it have taken thisssssssssssssss long for his case to be pending...buncha crap..never heard of such a thing..and, why a plea deal. either a dui or not. special treatment in los angeles. not right. plus too long b4 end to this.
