Leif Garrett Suffers Injuries In Motorcycle Accident

Actor and Celebrity Rehab alum, Leif Garrett, was involved in a motorcycle accident and suffered serious injuries, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

The former child star, that has had a slew of drug related arrests, was hospitalized after the accident, and is now recovering at home.

The accident occurred on July 14 - Garrett was on his motorcycle, when another vehicle turned abruptly in front of him, causing him to fall off the bike.

"Leif suffered a broken pelvis, and had to undergo surgery. Leif suffered other internal injuries along with minor facial lacerations. But, Leif hasn't relapsed," a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com.

Garret was arrested in February 2010 for allegedly having possession of a controlled substance. Leif was featured on season four of VH1's Celebrity Rehab.

"Leif absolutely hasn't had a relapse with drugs or alcohol. Leif is working with his sponsor, and is focused on recovering from the accident, and staying sober. Leif is undergoing daily physical therapy at home," the insider says.

Garrett's attorney, Mark Smith had no comment on our story.

I believe this accident happened 8 plus months ago, Leif was on Celebrity Rehab The Reunion, this
Motorcycle accident was mentioned. So i'm puzzled as to where you got the date from.

leif will always be a loser druggie. his accident reminds me of the spoof from Family Guy episode "the thin white line" which he is in. what a complete fvck up he is.
