Joy Behar Marries Longtime Boyfriend

Joe Behar has beaten her The View cohost Sherri Shepherd to the altar.
Behar, 68, married Steve Janowitz, her boyfriend of 29 years, Thursday night. It was a private ceremony in New York, her rep said.

Shepherd, 44, is set to wed writer Lamar Sally tonight in Chicago. Their ceremony will be telecast on the Style Network next month.
Congratulations to both brides. They're certainly going to have a lot to talk about when The View returns for its new season September 6.

Did Joy do this because he wasn't invited to the wedding??? I saw an episode where Sherri said if her guests weren't married they didn't get a plus one to bring to the wedding. I remember this because I had never heard of this for a wedding.

I think Joy married because they are getting older and she wants them both to have rights in eyes of the law that you don't have if you're not legally married. No other reason to do it, after 29 yrs together.

How odd two people from the same show get married the same week. I wonder if she tried to one up Star Jr. The show is nothing but a bunch of old nagging crotchy old women.

Yes I knew her age. She has a great body fat her age and with botox and fillers she says is all she had done looks amazing. Her personality is bizzare at times but she really gave Kate plus 8 a hard time and I loved it...

A hard time? LOL She was super kind to Kate and the interview was full of fun and LAUGHTER. I loved THAT. I don't know what interview you were watching. Joy seems to like Kate and she rarely likes ANYBODY.
