Housewife LuAnn De Lesseps Explains Her New Blonde Look

In the same week that she debuted her new single Chic, C'est La Vie, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps also debuted a new look, and she talked to RadarOnline.com exclusively about it.
"I wanted to try something new," The Real Housewives of New York City star says. "I've always wanted to be blonde. Every girl dreams of being blonde some time.

"I wanted to look like Marilyn Monroe for a minute!" she laughs. "I'm definitely going to keep the new look for awhile."
LuAnn admits that her boyfriend Jacques Azoulay prefers her as a brunette. "But he's having fun with this other woman," she jokes.

Her hairstylist Ted Gibson gave her her new golden locks: ""She's sunkissed. It's fun and different for her, she'd never been blonde before and wanted to surprise everyone," he tells us.
"I think she looks 20 years younger. It looks sexy and fresh."

This woman has no class or manners .She meets Alex for lunch to talk & is so afraid of being wrong she had to talk over Alex so she can't hear & then tells Jill it was pointless. If she pulled that on me she wouldn't have any hair to color

She does NOT have sun kissed hair. Mariedel66 is 100 percent correct. The cut was atrocious. I never could figure out why she wore it like that. Ted Gibson salon is NOT what its cracked up to be. FAIL

I am a colorist. Her hair does NOT look sunkissed, and natural, it looks brassy and VERY artificial. It was her CUT that was dreadful before and aging to her. GO BACK, COUNTESS.

I usually hate it when brunettes go blonde but she looks really good with blonde hair. As long as she doesn't go lighter than that, she could very well pull off this look for a while if she wanted to. ...and she does look younger.
