David & Victoria Beckham Name Their Daughter ‘Harper Seven’

We now know the name of the newest addition to the Beckham brood – it’s Harper Seven!
Only hours after wife Victoria gave birth Sunday morning in Los Angeles to the couple’s first girl, hubby David went on Facebook to announce his daughter’s name.

"I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham. She weighed a healthy 7lbs 10oz and arrived at 7:55 this morning, here in LA. Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister xx."
This is the fourth child for the soccer superstar, 36, and wife Victoria, 37, who’ve been married for 12 years.

The couple also has sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6.
Friends of the Beckhams tweeted their congratulations to the superstar couple.
Victoria’s pal Mel B, who is expecting her third child later this year, wrote: "congrats!!! Yipeee another spice baby is born, damn it wish it was me this AM cos I feel like I'm about to POP!"
Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton also tweeted: "Big kiss to @victoriabeckham can't wait to meet your gorgeous little girl!"

I wonder how they overlooked these names,,,,like,,,,"4-3",,,,or "lint", how about "soy sauce". "ironing board" is another keeper.How about "spackle"? How about "badmitton".Or "pillowcase" or "ointment",,,,,,,,,,,,morons.

Does Victoria ever smile? I'm sure she'd look real pretty if she smiled. I agree, strange name, but what does Harper have to do with Hopper??? And why do we have to drag sex into comments about a baby???

i was watching bewitched the other day. they were playing the very first ones. endora was reading a magazine called Harpies Bazaar. to each his own but harper, for a little girl, ugh.

hopefully she wont be nicknamed harpy..why do people call their kids these names including apple or sparrow..how does anyone keep a straight face being introduced to a grown man named sparrow?? that's just wrong.

Fugly name. Maybe Dennis Hopper was friends with them. Even Sean Penn has a son named Hopper. Maybe people will want to hop her.........

I'm sorry but that's the ugliest girl's name I've ever heard, worse even than Moon Unit. And if she's a bit of a nag later in life, she'll be called Harper the Harpie. Sorry but just an awful name to saddle a beautiful baby with.
