How much is the most ridiculous hat in the world worth? Apparently more than $100,000!

The bids for the wacky hat that Princess Beatrice, daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, wore to William and Kate’s royal wedding hit $102,330.78 on Friday, with just two days left in the auction.

There have been 95 bids placed for the Philip Treacy hat that was the talk of the day when the Princess wore it to the wedding.

“I’ve been amazed by the amount of attention the hat has attracted,” Princess Beatrice said about her hat. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to raise as much money as possible for two fantastic charities. I hope whoever wins the auction has as much fun with the hat as I have.”

The proceeds will be donated to UNICEF and Children in Crisis.

Now take some of that money, Bea, buy soap and a scrub brush and wash your face. I also agree with above poster - money better sent to St. Judes or another children's charity. UNICEF sucks.

Might as well just burn the money in a pile as to give it to UNICEF. UNICEF is one of the most corrupt organizations out there. She should've picked a GOOD children's charity that could do better things with the $.
