On a night many huge names -- including Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Carrie Underwood ... heck, even Spiderman! -- appeared on American Idol’s season finale, it was the show's own Jennifer Lopez who commanded the limelight, with an amazing derriere display that left the audience hot and bothered.

The 41-year-old On The Floor singer danced while her husband, I Need To Know singer Marc Anthony, performed.

At one point, she launched into a booty-shaking trance that lasted a whopping 15 seconds, showing she's still got some of her old Jenny From The Block swag.

I didn't think it was that bad, but she came across as desperate. She is still very sexy, but at some point she needs 2 grow up & stop trying 2 always be the centre of attention. While she is at it she should give the boot 2 her creepy hubby.

Worse than Lopez was Lady Gaga. I'm gaga for Gaga, but Idol is a family show with kids watching and kids in the audience and I found the simulated sex act with her dancer EXTREMELY inappropriate for young viewers.

Her booty shaking was sooo embarrassing. It was terrible also. ok she shook her legs and I suppose her butt was in there somewhere. Too many ppl have discussed her butt and now she thinks it's special. Just terrible. terrible dancing

This was AWFUL. I hate her new song and yes this was a very Mexican song that has no following here (no offense). I seriously thought these songs were from the 70's at my local hang out

I agree...the worst performance. JLo has to be the center of attention. It's embarrassing for the show! However, Steven Tyler did a fantastic job on his song. He has REAL talent. I also loved Tim McGraw and Scotty. Carrie Underwood is a class act!

you have to be kidding me. That was the worst performance not only of the show but maybe in history.It was Ricky Ricardo and lucy at the copacobana.I couldnt stop laughing at them.

Can someone please explain to me why Marc Anthony sang in spanish? Was this AMERICAN idol or LATIN idol??
I found it very annoying to watch!!!!! Next time speak english!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some songs just don't translate well from one language to another, like "Sukiyaki" or "Nel Blu Dipinto Di Blu". The words seem quaint or just don't fit, altogether. A song in its original language is always better.
