Ex-California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and TV news personality Maria Shriver announced Monday they’re separated after 25 years together, but there were signs of a break-up.
Check out this video of Shriver posted on her women’s empowerment website March 28, 2011, in which she hinted that she was going through major life changes.

Looking tired and emotional, the 55-year-old former Dateline NBC anchor candidly admitted to being ‘in transition’ and discussed how ‘so stressful not knowing what you are doing next.’ She appears helpless when asking viewers: “How did you find your transition, personal, professional, emotional, spiritual, financial, how did you get through it?’
Over the past months, in addition to a crumbling marriage and Schwarzenegger’s return to showbiz, Shriver has suffered through the deaths of both her parents, philanthropists Sargent and Eunice Shriver and her U.S. Senator uncle Ted Kennedy.

It is pathetic to see old man and old women divorce like that at the fag end of their life. After 25 years they still do not know what marriage is.

Maria has lost her identity. Her kids are grown, she's not working as a journalist, she's got a crumbling marriage on her hands. I think Good Morning, America should get rid of Robin Roberts, and hire Maria as host!

She needs counseling with people who understand what type of relationship/situation she is/has been in. She sounds very emotionally spun out and her self esteem has been undermined. Chronic cheating is a form of abuse.

Maria has four beautiful children to concentrate on and garner strength from. My daughter is the single
reason why I made it through. Belief in God and faith that He will get you through is crucial. She is much stronger than she knows.

we all need someone to care...to ask us how we are or help out through the rough spots but I don't think men are too good at doing that..then they don't know why their wife is so mad at them and women can do the same to their men too..

I remember the year my mom died and how that flattened me for years...I was so drained looking after everyone and hoping I could get back on my feet..it was a terrible time and I only got my strength back after going to God for help.
