Tim Robbins' Mother Dies Less Than 2 Weeks After His Father

Sad news for The Shawshank Redemption's Tim Robbins, who lost his mother Mary a mere 12 days after the death of his father, Gil.
Mary Robbins, 78, died on Sunday following a heart arrhythmia at her home in Esteban Cantu, Mexico. That was the same spot where her husband of 59 years, Gil, died at 80 from prostate cancer April 5.
Legendary Director Sidney Lumet Dies
The Bull Durham star said his late matriarch, a musician by trade, "had a calm and cheerful demeanor, a sharp wit, a gentle spirit and a generous and loving heart."
Mary Robbins is survived by four children and four grandkids.
