Kelly Ripa On All My Children Cancellation: ‘I Feel Heart Sick’

The cancellation of All My Children has Kelly Ripa wiping back tears. She’s “heart sick” the soap opera that made her a star is going off the air, RadarOnline.com has learned.

"This is like losing a member of your family,” Ripa said about the show she starred on for 20 years. Ripa, 41, played Hayley Vaughan Santos and spoke fondly of the show that was so dear to her.

"All My Children was more than a job -- it was my family. It was there that I met my husband; it was there when my first two children were born; it was there where I met many of my life-long friends,” Ripa said.

“It was the greatest training ground ever. I feel heart sick."

Ripa’s husband Mark Consuelos starred on the show from 1995-2010.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported ABC made the announcement Thursday that both All My Children and One Life to Live are going off the air at the end of the summer.

I watched Kelly & Mark fall in love and have children. I LOVED all the AMC Stars for 3` years. No, AMC does not have to get cancelled, no AMC does not have to END...Lets talk to Conan O'Brien !!

I did not choose to stay home and watch soaps all afternoon. But I did choose to buy a VCR to
record All My Children for 31 years. NO, AMC doesn't have to end...lets talk to Conan O'Brien !!

.I didn't know they were going to cancel AMC. What a run. I remember when Kelly was on the show. She was a teenager and bad as hell...lol. I stopped looking at it a looooooong time ago but I'm surprised that it's going off the air.

Kelly Ripa is being a drama queen as usual she can't act to save her life. the show has been on for 41 years it was going to end or get cancelled at some point
