Two beautiful dresses in one day!

The Princess Bride Kate Middleton changed into a second stunning gown for her evening reception at Buckingham Palace.

Custom designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, the gorgeous white dress with a sparkling belt and furry wrap will be her party frock for the night. Kate wore her burnette locks long and flowing, without the Cartier tiara she wore for her wedding ceremony.

Burton said designing the dress for the new Duchess of Cambridge was “the experience of a lifetime.”

The evening party is for 300 of Kate and Prince William’s closest friends and family, and will include dancing and other activities planned by the bride’s sister Pippa Middleton.

Crowds cheered the happy couple as they said their vows this morning in Westminster Abbey and kissed each other twice on the balcony of Buckingham Palace this afternoon.

I think she should have worn that dress as a wedding gown. I thought her gown was a bit stuffy

The Middleton family showed more class than any royal at a wedding in years. Kate got all of William's names correctly and her brother did a perfect reading. Her sister was stunning and did a perfect job for Kate & caring for the little bridesmaids.

She looked beautiful all day. I loved everything about the ceremony...from the dress to the balcony kisses. It was perfect and brought tears to my eyes!
