Not only is Elin’s new home a sprawling 17,000 square feet, but it’s located just 10 miles south of Tiger’s new compound in Jupiter Island, Florida.
Even though Tiger paid nearly five times more than Elin for his $60 million house, Elin’s new two-story pad has double the living space, including a 4,700 square foot basement.

Well why should she go get a small house? Tiger sure has no problem spending money on himself. Why should she raise his kids in a standard less than Tiger is living in? When she is entitled to that money and all...?

I wonder why a $6 million house wouldn't be big enough for her and two children....with only say, 4 bathrooms.

BASEMENT??? It HAS to be ground level walk out IF that is true. Water table in South Florida will not allow an underground basement. Radar, check your info

Good for you Elin. Moving on. I think these people buy these big places b/c they have soo much money they need that little tax deduction so they buy real estate.

I've always liked Elin. She has handled this situation with dignity and class. But who the heck needs a house this big? I have a pretty good sized home and 2 kids and this one is 5x bigger? Ridiculous - how can anything that huge ever feel 'homey?'
