Lindsay Lohan's legal eagle, Shawn Holley, is meeting with Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Keith Schwartz's chambers at the LAX Airport Courthouse in a desperate bid to avoid jail time for the troubled star, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers is at the meeting too.

It began around 2:45 pm PST.

“Holly is trying to use the fact that the jewelry store owners sold the surveillance video to keep her client out of jail,” a source with knowledge of the case told RadarOnline.com.

“Or at least consider greatly reducing the six months that the DA is seeking for the probation violation.”

Lohan, 24, is scheduled to appear in front of Judge Schwartz Thursday and is expected to reveal whether she will take the plea deal, or go to trial.

She has to be found guilty beyond reasonable doubt first before there is any probation violation. Once Lindsay
is found non guilty, that will be the end of all matters including probation against Lindsay.

Radar, do a little bit of fact checking when you post. The ADA was at the meeting, too.

Wrong Jill. While she won't go to jail tomorrow, she will more than likely be remanded to custody for probation violation when she appears in front of Sautner to plead not guilty to the theft charges.

i didn't say anything that was wrong. she won't go to jail tomorrow, that's not wrong. and yes, if she's found in violation she would be remanded at that hearing.

Did I say she was going to be remanded tomorrow? No, I did not. I said that she would be remanded when she appeared before Judge Sautner b/c the prelim and probation hearing would occur at the same time.

2) Lindsay isn't getting a break because the store did something bad - she's getting a break because now the prosecution can't necessarily prove guilt because it looks like the store set her up. It is VERY relevant.

Lets get 2 things straight:
1) Even if Lindsay is innocent and could win at trial, she will STILL go to jail tomorrow and then risk trial - so that's why the plea deal is a good option if she wants to avoid jail above all.

no she won't go to jail tomorrow. if she goes to trial, her violation hearing will be held at the same time. if she's found in violation, then she would go to jail but it's not happening tomorrow.
