Jennifer Aniston said she's moving to New York, and followed up on her recent derogatory comments about her iconic 90s hairdo “The Rachel” on Good Morning America Thursday.

Aniston said she’s heading back east from Los Angeles, as she’s shopping for homes in the Big Apple.

"I am thinking about it: I've been looking and looking," the Friends star said. "I grew up here. I miss it.

"There's nothing like being in the city...it's the city of every man" said Aniston, who celebrates her 42nd birthday Friday. "It's all walks, and I love that."

She backtracked some on Thursday, saying the way it felt to wear was a hardship, but she appreciates the hairdo’s place in pop culture history.
