We've got a sneak peek at Katie Holmes' new eight-part mini-series The Kennedys, in which she plays the elegant former First Lady Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy Onassis, better known as Jackie O.
Greg Kinnear plays John F. Kennedy and definitely looks the part. The piece documents Kennedy’s time in office prior to his assassination in November 1963.

The film was originally slated to air on The History Channel, but network officials pulled it last month, saying “this dramatic interpretation is not a fit for the History brand.”

Wish I could get the channel. I would watch! I must be the only Katie Holmes fan. She seems very sad with Tom Cruise but that's a whole other situation that I hope her family is helping her with.

Katie Holmes is a joke...Shes rode Nick Stahls coat-tails in Disturbing Behavior, which is her only/last "project" I cared anything about!

I love the Kennedys. Still feel so sad when I think about the day he was assassinated. I was in 3rd grade and remember it well. Everyone at school was crying when they made the announcement on the loudspeaker.

I remember it too. I was in 1st grade. I remember that that was all the grown ups talked about. I remember not being able to watch any TV because all they showed on all three channels was the funeral.

Man, I wish Holmes wasn't in it. I love Kinnear but I'm not sure how much suffering I can take watching her try to be Jackie.

Don't know if I get this channel - the Kennedys were very effective using their
power to censor this series. I respect Jackie, but it's sad that she tried make her
marriage "Camelot". Her husband cheating with everything in a dress.
