LeAnn Rimes Blasted By Fiancé's Ex: 'You Are Not His Parent. RESPECT!'

LeAnn Rimes took a beating this week when her fiancé’s ex-wife, Brandi Glanville, blasted her on Twitter for wanting to sing in her son’s class at school, RadarOnline.com has learned.
“I told Eddie to please tell you that I think it is highly inappropriate for you to sing in my sons class on Friday,” Glanville wrote in a Twitter post addressed to Rimes.
“Boundries!!”

Rimes made headlines when she had an extra-marital affair with Glanville’s then-husband, Eddie Cibrian, who ended his eight year marriage with her to be with Rimes.
Cibrian has two sons with Glanville -- Mason and Jake.
“It's Mason's week share his family with the class. it isn't ur place,” Glanville continued.

“Let Eddie read a script. You are not his parent. RESPECT!”
Although no direct response given from Rimes, she did post a somewhat cryptic message possibly addressing the messages from Glanville.
“I have asked once and would hope my fans would please respect my wishes…please do not retweet me anyone else's drama,” Rimes wrote.

As RadarOnline.com was first to report, Rimes and Glanville tried counseling together for the sake of the children, but it didn’t go as well as hoped.
"I did try some counseling with LeAnn, but it did not go so well for one reason or another," Glanville told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.
"At times I feel like they are blaming me, although I don't really quite know why, but I understand it is a process and that our sons have to come first."
Rimes also addressed the counseling saying she’s "sorry that everything's gone on the way it has," and now that "there's two little hearts involved, you want to protect them.

"Me being a step mom," Rimes said, "now it’s even more my responsibility."
Rimes and Cibrian announced their engagement on December 27, 2010.

Unfortunately the ex is wrong on one thing, as Rimes is going to marry him she will be step mother to her kids, that makes her family and if the kids already see her as part of the family you have to accept it! Did Mason ask her to sing?

I agree most exes would feel threatened by the new man/woman in their exes lives, but if they are there to stay and the kids get on with them, accept it and hide your pain from them - you don't punish the kids for adults actions!

The mother has the right to ASK Leanne not to perform at her kids school, but since the performance would not just be for him and she is a performer why not see it as that and not a threat! The father has the right to say no to ex, it's his kid too!!

She'll get a reality check when Eddie leaves her for another woman with more $$, Brandi is def. prettier than. The reason she is so desperate to sing at the kids school is because it's the ONLY gig she can get.

There are boundaries that have to be respected and Leanne is not respecting any of them. If someone walked in off the street and took over someones house wouldnt that be wrong? And so is this wrong.

She would be a step mother IF she married Ed but she is not a step mother...she is just a girlfriend of their dads...nothing else...she is way too obsessed with someone elses family and life.

The word mother is clearly part of "step mother". They don't need a marriage license for a woman to be a step mother to a child. Leann is part of the boy's family. Thank God she cares!

At the very least she's being insensitive. I tend to think it's more than that though. I think she's passive agressive and knows exactly what she's doing. Don't like this chic one bit.
