VIDEO: Sarah Palin Doesn't Think TLC Show Or Kate Gosselin's Appearance Will Hurt Her Politically

Sarah Palin told Bill O'Reilly on Thursday's O'Reilly Factor that she hasn't lost any credibility politically just because she's gotten into the reality TV game with her hit TLC show, Sarah Palin's Alaska.

Watch the clip on RadarOnline.com below.

On the show, which has chronicled the outdoorsy life of the prominent Alaskan family, we've seen Sarah gutting fish, hunting caribou and even rubbing shoulders with another prominent reality TV mom, Kate Gosselin.

Palin told O'Reilly she lived up to her promise to "do all that I could to promote Alaska," adding that with the highest-rated debut in TLC history, she feels she'd doing a good job of promoting not only the state, but its’ resources as well.

O'Reilly challenged the ex-governor, who's openly discussed her presidential ambitions in 2012 by asking her, "Is that presidential? You and Kate Gosselin in the forest?"

The charismatic Palin replied, "I'm sorry that I'm not so hoity-toity," laughing off O'Reilly's suggestion she'd appoint Gosselin to a cabinet spot, and inviting him to appear on a future episode.

Palin also took a slightly veiled jab at Kate, who made no secret of her discomfort with the outdoorsy lifestyle during her cameo on her show -- or, as Palin's father Chuck Heath aptly put it: "She bitched from the moment she got off the plane."

Said Sarah: "That episode certainly reflected a life lesson that I'm a believer in: Life is 10 percent circumstances and 90 percent how you react to circumstances."

Sarah Palin's Alaska airs Sundays at 9/8c on TLC; her new book, America by Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith, and Flag, is in stores now.

ITA....That was a hurtful and shameful comment for a mother to say to her kids just because they wanted to stay and she didn't. Kate could use some classes in parenting. :)

Hopefully since there is no news on Kate + kids, they are going to be enjoying a nice, peaceful Christmas, and hopefully since Jon & Ellens deleted tweets that will keep things quite thru the holidays.

Poor Palin. She is the national joke. That is one thing she does do well..she gives everyone a good laugh! I sure feel sorry for her family. Those poor older kids know what she is and that sometimes it reflects back on them. Run far, Bristol

Hey whatsup with Jon & Ellen deleting all their tweets regarding the outrageous articles they were selling to the tabloids. Their continual harassing of Kate will not be looked on favorably by the Judge. Are they trying to destroy evidence?

If thats what they are doing, I am sure someone has copies of those tweets. She has security people and lawyers looking out for her best interest.
