In a well kept secret that only Whoopi Goldberg and producers knew, rock icon Prince made a surprise appearance Thursday on 'The View' and, a visibly overwhelmed Sherri Shepherd couldn't help herself---telling the star 'I Have Wanted To Make Love To You My Whole Life.'

The Purple Rain singer is in New York and surprised each co-host with tickets to his concert at Madison Square Garden on December 18.

As Prince came on the show's set, Sherri seemed to almost faint; she began shaking and was in complete awe of the superstar.
