Mariah Carey didn't take a backseat to her talented Opera singer mother Patricia when the two performed on Mariah's ABC Christmas special Monday, as the All I Want For Christmas crooner showed she can hit her high notes with the best of 'em.

During their joint rendition of O Come All Ye Faithful/Hallelujah Chorus, Patricia, a vocal coach, stole the show with her impressive, high-pitched Opera singing -- that is, until Mariah went into one of her trademark screeches that brought the house down.

There were technically three generations of the family onstage Monday, as Mariah is currently pregnant with her first child with hubby Nick Cannon.

Evebn with her Mother, Mariah has to be a diva, has to be the center of attention. Her mom got little time on that song. My question is, w/ all the money Mariah Carey has, why hasn't she paid for the repair of moms teeth?

I missed it cause I watched the hilarious roast of Gene Simmons. Jeff Ross,Carrot Top,Danny Bonaducci ,. Lisa Lapinelli Missed Greg Giraldo. BTW the house rock band was very entertaining. We want more roasts of rock stars!
