The 37-year-old journalist said she'd had an uneventful pregnancy until seven weeks in, when she and her husband, Dr. Paul Song, received the horrible news of the miscarriage.
"We actually [hadn't] been trying that long," she said. "I don't know that I took it as seriously as I should have because it happened so fast.

"But then when I heard the doctor say there was no heartbeat it was like bam, like a knife through the heart," Ling said, admitting it left her "devastated."
Ling, trying to get something positive out of the experience, said she's started a Web site named secretsocietyofwomen.com for women to communicate about issues they might be afraid or embarrassed to discuss otherwise.

What a crock! I used to like Lisa but this is ridiculous. She should be glad that she miscarried. When I miscarried twins, the doctor told me that it was nature's way of preventing an infant with serious problems.

Cry us a river, Lisa Ling....most of us have been there and don't get any publicity when we suffer a miscarriage.
All we can do is pick ourselves up and move on smartly. I suggest you do the same.
