Shania Twain’s rep confirmed her engagement to businessman and triathlete Frederic Thiebaud on Monday.

The Canadian singer has been dating Thiebaud, 40, for more than a year – but it was heartache that brought them together as they bonded in the wake of betrayal and divorce.
Twain’s ex-husband, Robert “Mutt” Lange allegedly had an affair with Twain’s former best friend and Thiebaud’s ex-wife, Marie-Anne Thiebaud – and bizarrely they ended up swapping partners.

“I’ve never seen Shania so happy,” a source told Us Weekly , who is exclusively reporting the engagement noting that Thiebaud popped the question two months ago at their home in Switzerland.
“She has ended up with the love of her life.”

I wish them much happiness b/c I'm sure both deserve it after what they have been through. Shania is so much more beautiful than her fiance's ex Marie-Anne. He definitely stepped up. Shania ex and his ex deserve ea other.
