Julia Stiles Denies Breaking Up Michael C. Hall's Marriage

Hollywood actress Julie Stiles has denied she broke up Michael C. Hall's marriage to his Dexter co-star Jennifer Carpenter.

In a statement to RadarOnline.com, Stiles said: "Although I too prefer to keep my private life private, I felt compelled to dispel the rumors I was somehow the cause for this matter."

Stiles has also appeared on the hit series alongside the pair.

One website quoted an anonymous source as saying Hall and Stiles had had "a lot of chemistry and seemed to be extra cozy with each other".

But according to Stiles, she had “sbsolutely nothing to do with the split between Michael and Jennifer."

She added: We are good friends and enjoyed working together. This is a personal matter between them, and we should respect their privacy.

I don't think either one is particularly attractive. They aren't ugly but they aren't beautiful either. I always thought Jennifer Carpenter looked kind of like a man
