VIDEO: Newlywed Russell Brand Shows Off Ring To Regis & Kelly

Fresh off one of the most exquisite celebrity weddings of the year, comic Russell Brand appeared on Live with Regis & Kelly Monday to clear up some rumors about his gala wedding to singer Katy Perry, and show off his marital bling.

Brand showed off his gleaming wedding ring, telling the morning duo, "I like being married, it's very relaxing."

Then, he addressed some of the "bloody rumors in the media" centered around the October 23 wedding in Jaipur, India, as asked by Regis Philbin.

So did Russell and Katy exchange exotic safari animals as presents?

"I would never do that; exchange animals," the frenetic Get Him To The Greek star said.

Were there camels accompanying the stars down the aisle?

"There were not, it was just mostly friends and family," Brand said. "If I knew any camels, I would have invited them."

And as for the widely-reported story of a tiger making its' way onto the premises?

"I don't think there were any tiger gate crashers," Brand said. "If there were, I hope they were endorsing a breakfast cereal."

Perry, 25, and Brand, 35, began dating in late 2009, and decided to tie the knot on New Year's Day while vacationing in Jaipur.
