It's Official - Prince William Engaged To Kate Middleton!

Britian's most eligible bachelor is officially off the market.
Royal officials announced Tuesday that Prince William is engaged to his long-time girlfriend Kate Middleton.
A spokesperson for Prince Charles' said the heir to the British throne is "delighted to announce the engagement of Prince William to Miss Catherine Middleton."
The palace says they got engaged last month during a vacation in Kenya. The couple - both of whom are 28 - are expected to marry next spring or summer in London.
They met more than eight years ago while students at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
Speculation had been rampant among royals-watchers recently that the engagement would happen soon. It intensified when it was revealed that Queen Elizabeth II had invited Middleton to spend Christmas with the royal family.
The wedding is widely expected to be the most lavish gala since William's father, Prince Charles married his mother, Lady Diana Spencer in 1981.
