Tonioli smiled and applauded as Bolton saved some face with a spectacular performance of Hallelujah on Tuesday night’s Dancing With The Stars.

"He had one hour one hour to get that song right," Tonioli said. "He came in, came out and did an amazing performance... absolutely amazing."

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Tonioli humiliated Bolton last week by telling him after his dance, "You did it all very, very, very badly -- this is the worst jive in 11 seasons."

Bolton expressed his disappointment with Bruno in a GMA segment that aired after his elimination, as he said he "just didn't expect that level of disrespect from" Tonioli, who he said "should apologize publicly and... be reprimanded."

So was Tonioli willing to apologize this week?

"No, I said the truth," he told ET Tuesday night after the show. "You have to be fair and you have to see everybody as equals, and if something needs to be pointed out ..."

Dancing With The Stars' eleventh season continues on ABC Monday at 8/7c.
