Former neighbors of ex-Real Housewife of New Jersey star Danielle Staub are “irate” at the poor condition of the home that a court has ordered be sold.

Staub is still refusing to turn over the keys to the million dollar mansion in Wayne, New Jersey, to the court appointed real estate agent.

In the meantime, she has supposedly left the home in disarray and a deteriorated state.

“I’ve had neighbors call irate, as anyone would be, to have a house that’s neglected like this,” said Bob Lindsay, from Coldwell Banker.

The 6,000 square-food Tudor-style colonial boasts seven bedrooms, a double staircase, mahogany billiard room with wet bar and a pool – and was originally listed last year for $1,495,000 and was re-listed earlier this year, under a court order.

It is now expected to fetch $1,095,000.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Staub has not been cooperating with a court order to sell the house and split the proceeds with her ex-husband Thomas.

She moved out of the home on September 8.

“But I haven’t be able to get in,” Lindsay told Tom Murro, aka the Celebrity Magnet this RadarOnline.com video.

The home “needs updates,” Lindsay said and showed our cameras how overgrown the landscaping is around the house, in the upscale neighborhood.

My cousin who owns a Coldwell Banker franchise. Per him:
This is for publicity. What does the contract read? If there's a judge's order he calls all the shots. No Real Estate Co. is forced to take ANY listing...so walk.

Who would want to buy it or live there after Danielle did. Who knows what she'd do to the homeowner, when she did not want to sell her house to begin with.

As far as the lawn is concerned, a good listing agent would have lawn service keeping it up in a multi million dollar neighborhood. This agent is failing at doing his job.

IF the court has ordered HIM to sell it, then the dumb agent should get a locksmith to change the locks on the doors. The fact that he is scared to enter without Danielle's permission makes me believe he does not have the authority to list it.

If there is a court order in place then whether or not Danielle cooperates by turning the keys or not is a moot point. Ever heard of a LOCKSMITH!? It's no longer up to her to keep the home maintained. >>

She moved out and the house is in the hands of the Realtor whose responsibility is to upkeep the house. If he wants the house remodeled to get more $ then he should pay for it.

Good reporting Radar...Except she doesn't live in Franklin Lakes. She lives 2 entire counties over. She lives in Wayne. Don't confuse Passaic Cty to Bergen Cty. No comparison.

The more publicity they get the more people who MIGHT be interested If you are losing the property why worry about fixing it up or the yard work. It's now the court's problem. Let the neighbors go to them.
