Christina Aguilera Files For Divorce: We Have A Prenup

Christina Aguilera filed for divorce from her husband Jordan Bratman on Thursday in Los Angeles, RadarOnline.com has learned.
In the documents Aguilera lists their date of separation as September 11, 2010, and confirms that the couple did have a prenuptial agreement. The singer is requesting the court confirm that her “miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects” as well as her “earnings and accumulations....before marriage, during marriage and from and after the date of separation” be deemed separate property.

“There are additional and separate property assets and obligations of each party as mandated by the parties’ Prenuptial Agreement,” the papers added.
As for the reason the of split, Aguilera listed irreconcilable differences. She is also asking for joint legal and physical custody of their son Max, that both parties pay their own legal fees, and that any spousal support be terminated.

The couple were married for nearly five years.

People think they know what goes on behind closed doors. Obviously this was a long time coming. I'm sure they put a lot of thought into divorce as they have a child. Christina is a real talent and never been in trouble with drugs or the law.

The speed at which this proclaimed love of her life fell from grace is startling! Something is very wrong here. I believe something has taken place in her love life. I feel sorry for Jordan. He's always been kind and worships her. He must be so hurt.

So much for marriage vows yet again. No one takes them seriously. I would like to know how you go from He is the great love of my life to kicking him to the curb so fast. Very sad for little Max he is the one this divorce will harm....
