Singer Mario Arrested For Attacking Mom - See The Mug Shot

Singer Mario was arrested shortly after midnight Friday in Baltimore, RadarOnline.com has learned, in connection with accusations he assaulted his mother, Shawntia Hardaway.
The 24-year-old singer (real name: Mario Dewar Barrett), who was charged with second-degree assault, was released on $50,000 bond Friday morning.

Police said that the singer's mother claimed he was "throwing and damaging property" in the Baltimore apartment they live in, and had "pushed her using his hands and forearms, causing minor pain."

Police said they found a damaged china cabinet, broken mirror, scattered glass pieces and a hole in a door when they inspected the residence.
He'd appeared on the sixth season of ABC's Dancing With The Stars.

Too bad he's not a white teen mom with a show on TLC. Apparently, they don't get arrested for domestic violence even when the evidence of it broadcast on national television. Double standards always annoy me.
