Miley Cyrus’ parents have called it quits: Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife of 17 years Tish have filed for divorce in Tennessee citing irreconcilable differences.

"As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family," the couple told People in a statement on Wednesday.

What does it gain a man to gain the whole world and loose his very soul? love is so special..it gives us value and happiness but it never came from the big bucks or being famous...hope they get their selves together.

Irreconcilable differences? What happened is that the poor woman woke up one day and realized, "holy sh*t, I'm married to BILLY RAY CYRUS". Good for her.

I've had the feeling he's put his wife on the back burner for a LONG time. He rarely mentions her and even in specials he says some things about the kids but never introduces the mother. then he lets their teen do anything. Finally fed up I bet

They agreed on one thing. To SELL their YOUNG daughter for money. Allowing Miley to dress like a stripper and making her work at such a young age has been horrible to watch. These 2 are southern Lohan's. I hope Miley does not start doing drugs.
