VIDEO: Teen Mom Brawl - April Sees Red Over Catelynn's 'Ugly' Prom Dress

MTV's reality series Teen Mom gave more glimpses into the complicated lives of this season's quartet of young mothers Tuesday, as we saw the girls wrestle with their teen impulses and the adult responsibilities parenthood brings.

Catelynn's volatile relationship with her mother April was brought to the forefront for the second time in as many weeks, as the pair got into a vicious fight over a prom dress.
After Catelynn began eyeing a red dress, April said her daughter's choice was a good one “if you like ugly,” before calling her a b *tch multiple times. The hysterics continued on for young Catelynn, whose luck took a Cinderella-esque turn when she won her school's prom queen title, while her fiancé Tyler won prom king.
Meanwhile, a Nashville-bound Maci was stopped dead in her tracks when her baby's father Ryan decided he wanted half-custody of their child, and legally restricted her from the move to Music City.
Farrah reunited with her mother Debra, and the pair's rocky relationship continued during a counseling session in which the therapist sensed the distance between mother and daughter. While the pair try to get on the same page, its clear there are some major trust issues that will be a recurring theme in future episodes.
Birthday girl Amber was still sad about not passing her GED, but determined to celebrate with her pals nonetheless. She got into a major spat with her boyfriend Gary, but eventually he made good by bringing her a cake, before she partied with her friends.

Poor Catelynn!Being in that awful environment w/ her abusive mother is terrible.She treats Catelynn like dirt. I think Catelynn made the best decision when she gave Carly up for adoption. I pray Catelynn gets out of that home.

Catelynn will be so much better off when she can get away from that evil woman who is her "Mom". She has intelligence & compassion, 2 of the many things her Mom doesn't have.

I feel so bad for Caitlyn because her mom and Butch are terrible, mean, trashy people. Caitlyn and Tyler showed so much maturity by giving up Carly for adoption. I hope they can get away from that toxic environment!

It saddens me to see April speak to Catelyn this way. It is abuse. April is probably a drug user like her BF. I hope MTV is paying her enough so she is able to put some $ in bank and get out of this situation. Horrific!

Om y goodness....Catelynns mom looks terrible. She looks like a strung out junkie. Catelynn is so sweet, I hope she stays that way. I agree about Amber UGH!

I feel so bad for Catelyn. She deserves a better mother than that. I have had so much respect for them since I saw what she and Tyler went through from their horrible parents but they still chose adoption because they loved their daughter.

I know. Catelyn & Tyler's selflessness at their age amazes me. They are so mature and so together. It's hard to believe they got stuck with the awful parents they have. Their daughter is going to be so proud of them
