"Well, we actually planned the whole thing for a new video called, 'How to Deal with Rejection,'" Hasselhoff, 58, joked. "I kinda knew I wasn't going to be the judges’ favorite ... all I wanted to was have fun, and play it out, and that was our goal.

It's supposed to be entertaining," said The Hoff, who ended Monday's show in a three-way tie for the lowest score with his cha-cha-cha. "I was relying on Johnson for the technique, and I  thought she was terrific."

Prior to his ouster, Hoff's daughters Hayley and Taylor-Ann appeared in a pre-taped interview for the network, and said that they're proud of their dad no matter what happens, as the Baywatch star trotted out on the ballroom floor despite a case of bad knees.

"I'm always like their hero and I'm always in control, and to see me get voted off was a different experience," the doting dad said. "They've got big, big hearts."

Pro dancer Lacey Schwimmer put The Hoff's surprisingly early exit best, when she exclusively told us Tuesday, "He would've been really entertaining throughout the season ... so we lost a good entertainer."

Dancing With The Stars returns on ABC next  Monday at 8/7c.
