George Clooney and his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis traveled to her family's country home on the island of Sardinia earlier this week, and photos of the happy pair have just emerged. RadarOnline.com has them!

Ever the fan-favorite, George strolled through the tiny town of Trenuraghes and met many of the locals.

This was really a family trip, and George is said to have seriously bonded with the entire Canalis family. But when it came time for some romantic alone time, the couple took off for the legendary Hotel Villa Las Tronas.

I cannot imagine any girl taking George home to meet the family. He doesn't need anybody's ok to be with or marry anyone. He's certainly old enough to make that decision for himself.

George will marry this girl. As far as I know he's never gone so far as to meet the parents of any of his lovers. She is a lucky girl and apparently has whatever it is he needs. If she has to spread her legs to get him then oh well.

omg i saw the american this weekend and he is so gorgeous i stopped being a fan when he got the emo haircut on e.r. that ruined it for me lol now i am so jealous of his g/f! the movie is slow but mmm worth it for us chicks!
