Nobody does goodie bags like Oprah Winfrey.

The talk show maven Monday kicked off her 25th season opener by giving her audience a gift they'll never forget: she’s sending them to Australia -- and piloting the flight will be A-lister John Travolta.

Including the studio audience and crew members, Winfrey will bring about 450 people altogether on the trip, which will last about 10 days.

Winfrey Monday also gave her studio audience Motorola Smart phones, RadarOnline.com has learned. She gave cars to every member of her studio audience during her season opener in 2004.

In another surprise, legendary singer Paul Simon was a surprise guest Monday, as he emerged to serenade the talk show host.

"Many years ago, I wrote a song for Oprah's tenth season and I'd like to sing it again with a few lyrical changes to commemorate your farewell season," he told her.

The Oprah Winfrey Show aired live in Chicago Monday and afternoons in syndication across the country.

Winfrey, 56, said last November that this season will be her last. She will launch her new Oprah Winfrey Network on cable New Year's Day.

She left those to whom she "gave" the cars to pay the gift taxes, themselves. I'm sure there will costs which Oprah will neglect to cover associated with this venture.

I would be afraid it is some Scientology scam. Is Oprah a scientologist now? She seems to cater to them.

I had a client 2 yrs ago who wanted to see if Oprah would like her product & maybe it'll become a fave of hers. The show wanted money & of course she was to provide free stuff for the audience. Don't be fooled by her "generosity" it isn't real.

Come on do you really think Oprah is paying for this trip. I'm sure Australia tourism is paying for it. Just like
the cars "she" gave...the car manufacturer paid for them.
