George Lopez And Wife Divorcing After 17 Years

After 17 years of marriage, funnyman George Lopez and his wife Ann Sorrano are divorcing, his rep confirmed to RadarOnline.com.

“George and Ann Lopez have made the decision to end their 17 year marriage. The decision is amicable and by mutual agreement. They remain dedicated parents, and committed partners in business and their philanthropic organization, The Lopez Foundation,” Lopez’s rep said in a statement on Monday.
When it was discovered in 2004 that Lopez suffered from a genetic condition that caused his kidneys to deteriorate, it was his wife Ann who successfully donated one of her kidneys to her husband.
The couple was married in 1993 and have a 15-year-old daughter together, Mayan Lopez.

On Sunday, George attended the Ultimate Slam PaddleJam- a celebrity ping pong tournament that raises money for charity- by himself. He kept a jolly face throughout the event, joking around with doubles partner Greg Grunberg and fellow participants Aimee Garcia, Hal Sparks, and LMFAO.
However, as late as last week, George and Ann stepped out as a united front. On September 23, they attended PADRES Contra El Cancer’s 25th Anniversary Gala where George was honored. They walked arm in arm together down the red carpet, happily posing for photographers.

I noticed George has become really haughty. He thinks he is such a cool star. He goes around mocking his roots and making fun of a Latinos. Sandra 'Bullock made him a star. I hope he does not have his eyes on her. GROSS

What a disappointment! I thought they were for real! So sad, especially after her ultimate sacrifice for his health. Maybe she should have just let him stay on dialysis forever. She was the only reason I sort of liked George Lopez.

The Enquirer busted him last year cheating with hookers. He always held his wife out to be the love of his life. He paraded her on the View and Oprah and Wanda Sykes. This is so sad. He always drools over the Kardashians- just watch

George has always treated her like ish. I remember just recently he spoke so poorly of her when he appeared on "The View". I thought, "how despicable".
