EXCLUSIVE VIDEO INTERVIEWS: Karina Smirnoff Kicking The Situation's Rear, To Good Results

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino showed he's getting better with an 18 of 30 score for his quick step on Monday's Dancing With The Stars, and the MTV star credited guidance from his dance partner Karina Smirnoff -- who admittedly enjoys “kicking his a**” -- as a key factor in helping him become Seaside Heights’ answer to Fred Astaire.

We caught up with the owner of reality TV's most famous six-pack and Smirnoff following the show, and asked them to follow up on Karina's butt-kicking statement about their grueling training sessions.

"Oh yeah, you know what, she works me hard in practice," The Situation told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

"I'm really trying to show people a different side, entertainment's my business, and right now, this is Dancing With The Stars and I'm really trying to stay," the Jersey Shore star said. "Whatever happens, happens, and hopefully, I can keep improving."

So with the sexy partners spending hours upon hours together getting physical, has the Sitch tried to hit on Karina?

"I've been very respectful," he said, adding that after he gets his steps down, "I'm sure we could have a little fun ... I'm really just trying to concentrate on the steps.”

Dancing With The Stars' eleventh season continues Tuesday at 9/8c on ABC; in the meantime, new episodes of Jersey Shore air on MTV, Thursdays at 10/9c.
