Gunman Enters Discovery Channel Building, May Have Explosives

A gunman, possibly carrying explosives, has entered the headquarters of the Discovery Channel and fired shots, RadarOnline.com is reporting.
According to police in Silver Spring, Md., a report came in about 1 pm of a gunman who entered the building.

Employees inside were told to take cover in locked offices and police have sent SWAT teams to the area to seal off nearby roads.
The 911 call reported that shots had been fired, according to the Washington Post.
Local media is reporting children at a day care center in the Building have been safely evacuated to a nearby McDonalds.

My religious beliefs are none of your business but it sounds like you might need some prayers yourself because it appears hatred has overcome your life. This is a time for prayers or wishes that no one gets hurt.

I actually know someone who thinks people shouldn't have more than one child because it is destroying the planet. You never know how extremists are going to react to their perceived injustices. Pray for all thos hostages.

mary e for once we are in agreement. So many people's lives are in danger and I pray that nothing happens and they get this guy into custody as soon as possible.

Seriously we need to say prayers and lots of them and even if you aren't a a believer please, please send positive thoughts that this ends without anyone getting hurt. I don't care what this guy's reason for doing this, it's wrong on every level.

This is sickening. I hope it ends well without anyone getting hurt. When they said an Asian my first thought was it might be Jon Gosselin because he is getting desperate but thankfully it's not him although the guy does resemble Jon in appearance.
