Julia Roberts may have indulged in lots of pasta and wine while filming the film adaptation of Elizabeth Gilbert's book Eat, Pray, Love, but the actress showed no signs of the carb-loading when she stepped out on the red carpet for the movie's New York premiere Tuesday.

The actress may have opted for black, but she broke out of the basic by pairing her conservative jacket and blouse with thigh-grazing shorts.

I think Julia looks very nice here .... and she doesn't look slutty. The shorts are not Daisy Dukes and she has the body so good for her. I think it is a nice mixture of conservative and sexy.

She is too old and has children now. She is not a teenager or single lady without children anymore. She should not be in short shorts or super short skirts at her age. She is a mom. No matter how great you think you look keep it hidden.
