Brad Pitt went back to the Big Easy on Friday to visit New Orleans’ 9th Ward and RadarOnline.com has the latest photos from his trip.

The actor, who looked his handsome self in a denim button-down shirt, is helping bring attention to the area during the fifth year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.

Pitt, through his Make It Right Foundation, has focused on building eco-friendly homes for those displaced by the devastation. In 2006, they commissioned 13 architects to build the affordable home.
Part of his mission is to build awareness about the ongoing struggle survivors face. To that end, he also slipped in time to do a special televised interview with Brian Williams.

Looking relaxed and happy to be in New Orleans, Pitt smiled and waved at fans and a crowd of locals who stopped to see the movie star in action.
“New Orleans still has a long way to go to get back from Katrina but things are moving in the right direction thanks to guys like Brad Pitt,” Baxter Barnes, who received a home from Make It Right and has spent time with both Pitt and Angelina Jolie, told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “They are both genuine and down-to-earth people and if were not for them we, like a lot of other people, would not have homes back in New Orleans.”

People of the United States as well as other countries need to ask where all the money went for the victims of hurricane Katrina!!!! It's a shame that people are still waiting to have their houses rebuilt 5 years later.

I am so sad by the fact that nothing was done for New Orleans. My God, why can't we rebuild it? It's taking wayyyy tooooo long.

I am sickened by New Orleans looking the same as it did 5 years ago. We all gave money-I gave mountains of it hoping it would help Americans in terrible trouble. Where is my money? Why are we allowing this city to falter after so long?

If Brad Pitt wanted to take his pic with me I would decline. He's never appealed to me and I get the feeling something isn't genuine with regard to who he portrays himself to be. OR, perhaps it's that he's hooked up to her. She's awful.

Very classy guy! These are celebs with a brain & a soul, his wife, and his bud, George Clooney, do a lot for society...unlike shallow shells of people like Lindsay & Hilton.

He looks so much better without the fake Jolie hanging by him. At least he is not Un American like her. She hasn't seen him again since July, he looks much better. Jolie said she hated New Orleans.

Brad& Angie ,they are 2 wonderful parents and they are 2 wonderful people..If every woman was like Angie about their children, then every child would be so happy..

Oh yeah, ain't she just great? You must not remember her wearing a vial of Billy Bob's blood around her neck for years. And hell, she gave Maddox knives for his 7th birthday. That's just such a great thing to do...

ROL,I've read at Yahoo news that Miss smarty pants Paris Hilton was arrested last night in Las Vegas for cocaine possession..I hope the idiot is locked up..
