EXCLUSIVE: Levi Johnston "Doing Well and Upbeat" After Breakup With Bristol Palin

Being dumped is tough, but Levi Johnston is not letting it get him down and is “doing well and is upbeat,” a source close to the Alaskan told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

“They are both giving it space,” the source said.

While Bristol Palin was preparing to end her engagement to Levi because he was fame hungry, RadarOnline.com can reveal, her fiancé was in LA shopping himself around to television executives.

Levi, 19, was spotted at an exclusive party in the Hollywood Hills on Saturday night -- and the father of little Tripp was not with his baby mama Bristol.

He was living the high life at the exclusive party, dressed in all black and surrounded by friends.

“Levi was hanging out with a bunch of guys; they were talking about going out in LA,” said one guest.

Levi was visiting Tinsel town in a bid to get his own reality show, according to Canaan Rubin, the reality producer who also works with Jon Gosselin.

Rubin exclusively told RadarOnline.com the show doesn’t include Bristol.

"Levi and Tank have been bombarded with all sorts of wild offers for a reality series from dating to hunting and everything in between," he said.

As RadarOnline.com reported, Bristol was “heartbroken” over the news that Levi may be the father of his ex-girlfriend Lanesia Garcia’s baby.

Bristol said his confession that he might be the father was one of the reasons she ended their relationship.

Levi earned an enemy in Sarah Palin and she released a statement to People about the breakup.

"I wish for Bristol to be able to move forward in life with her same forgiving, gracious, optimistic spirit, but from henceforth she'll know to trust but verify,” the former vice-presidential candidate said.

I'm glad this happened because Bristol should have NO DOUBT in her mind that he's trash. Yes, he's young, blah, blah, but she doesn't need a "boy". She already has a baby and a beautiful one at that. DUMP LEVI.

She seems like a decent young lady, but very naive. Levi is a joke - I really hope he doesn't get a show - digusting to play with heart strings for fame. But I still can't stand her mother...ugh. Yay for Barack!!

I hope his acting career succeeds and he can pay child support and help his ill mother and sister as his father abandoned them per his sister, Mercede Johnston. Mercede has her own blog and is NOT fond of Bristol
