AUDIO: Kat Von D Defends Jesse James, Dances Around Romance Rumors

Kat Von D was a guest on KROQ’s Kevin & Bean radio show in LA on Wednesday morning, where she opened up about her “good friend” Jesse James and addressed the rumors that they’re dating.

“I’ve known Jesse since I was 22,” the reality star told Kevin & Bean. “We’ve always been friends.”

When pushed to answer questions about whether she was dating James, Kat said, “I think I’m his type on a different level than people would assume. Just because we both have tattoos doesn’t mean we’re a perfect match!”
As RadarOnline.com reported, Jesse James’s divorce to Sandra Bullock was finalized in June following his string of infidelities, including stripper Michelle “Bombshell” McGee. James has since announced he plans to move to Bullock’s hometown in Texas with his three kids so they can remain close to the actress.
Von D jumped to Jesse’s defense saying she feels he’s handling the situation the best way he can.

“I have a lot of respect for Jesse,” she said. “I’m a believer that we are all human and capable of making mistakes. If I were to be crucified for my drug addiction three years ago now, it’d be hard to live with that.”
