Talk about explosive, Vienna Girardi and Bachelor Jake Pavelka finally had their very public TV showdown - and one day after the 4th of July, the fireworks were still going!

The former lovebirds were brought together for the first time since their much-publicized and ugly split, but the meeting, which aired during the second half of ABC's The Bachelorette Monday night, quickly spiraled out-of-control, and ended with Vienna storming off the set in tears.

Offering his side, Jake initially admitted to 'Bachelor' host Chris Harrison that he and Vienna had been on the rocks for some time. “The relationship was going downhill,” Jake said. He then claimed he was blindsided by the break-up and, “I was on the cover of five magazines.” Defending her decision to talk to Star Magazine, Vienna pointed out that Jake gave an interview to People magazine the same week that she gave her exclusive interview to Star. “You were going to do it either way. I’m not an idiot,” she said.

Vienna’s story is completely different from Jake’s. “It went straight downhill. It wasn’t like a real relationship.” She said that she suffered from emotional abuse from Jake and that she was lonely in the relationship. “I just wanted him to be around me and talk to me and kiss me.”

Jake seemed to be angrily holding his composure throughout the entire episode and rarely showed any emotion. “She breaks me down, she undermines me, she’s mean,” is why Jake said he had problems with Vienna. He didn’t look at Vienna and repeated that she undermined him, but the only example he could give was when Vienna wanted to use the GPS system in the car and he said he knew where they were going. He admitted to his anger, and said he threw the GPS in the back of the car.

Despite Jake’s claims that Vienna cheated on him and that there was another man in their apartment, Vienna explained that the guy was her gay friend who was dropping off a dress for her to wear to the charity event where she met Greek TV actor Gregory Michael, with whom she says she is not involved.

“I’m so mad at you and I’m just disgusted with you,” Jake said to Vienna. “You are a fame whore, that’s what you are,” Vienna shot back. “You’re a liar is what you are.”

The final straw for Vienna was when Chris Harrison asked if she wanted to apologize, and she said “I am sorry that I went about it the way I did, but I know you the real you and I know you would do it if I didn’t.” Jake shot back with “You don’t know me and I wouldn’t have done it.” Vienna then said , “If I don’t know you then why,” and Jake angrily and forcefully said “Please stop interrupting me.”
Vienna began to cry and when Jake was talking, and when she interjected, he said , “again I got interrupted.” She then stood up, and before she stormed away, she told him, “You are the fakest person I have ever met in my life!”

Jake was tired of her. She followed him around and she smothered him. Vienna was crying because she couldn't get her way. She was hurt rejected.It wasn't a good match. It was just over. It was wrong in the first place.

You would lose it too if Vienna never let you get a word in edgewise. Chris Harrisson did his checking & Vienna sold the story for 90K. He wasn't about to argue with her on TV and that crying was so fake.

I used to support her but I finally saw through her total fake. This was all a fake for media attention and money. She had to drag Jake into this or she wouldn't have made a dime. No other bachelorette has done this.

Absolutely right. Vienna was so jealous that Jake got DWTS and all she wanted was $$$$$ and fame. She can't go back home because her hometown people hate her. That alone tells you everything about her.
