EXCLUSIVE: Cops Subpoena Mel Gibson Tapes

Cops investigating Mel Gibson for domestic violence have subpoenaed the shocking audio tapes that contain the actor's threats against Oksana Grigorieva and his admission that he hit her, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
RadarOnline.com has released some of the audio, revealing a vile, racist rant by Mel and also death threats against Oksana, the mother of his eight-month-old daughter Lucia.

Now we've learned that Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department investigators have subpoenaed a DVD that Oksana filed with the court and is under seal. That DVD contains the audio recordings.

But RadarOnline.com has also learned that the cops already have the recordings because Oksana turned them over to investigators. She made a formal complaint against Mel on July 5.

A source familiar with the investigation into Mel told RadarOnline.com: "LASD investigators formally subpoenaed the DVD as part of their ongoing criminal investigation involving Mel Gibson. The DVD is currently under seal in the ongoing custody case which has been assigned to Judge Scott Gordon.
"Judge Gordon will have to comply with the subpoena and turn it over to law enforcement. The subpoena itself will not be made public as it's part of an ongoing investigation."

And another source says that Oksana gave authorities the recordings when she filed the complaint but that the sheriff's department still wants the official material, which is under seal.
Oksana has told associates that she taped her phone calls with Mel because he threatened to kill her. And in audio released exclusively by RadarOnline.com Mel tells Oksana he will hit her in the side of the head with a shovel and bury her in a garden. In an unreleased audio tape he threatens to burn down the house.

In audio released by RadarOnline.com on Monday, Mel screams at Oksana: "Threaten ya? I'll put you in a (bleeping) rose garden you c*nt! You understand that? Because I'm capable of it. You understand that? Get a f*ckin' restraining order!
On January 6, 2010 sources say Mel punched Oksana, knocking out her two front teeth.

Their relationship is now a battleground and both have filed legal papers against the other, with all documents under seal.

Oksana, many many women have been on the same road as you and you are not alone. An abuser is an abuser is an abuser. These men learn to hate on women early in life and they refuse to grow up.
