It’s a sudden move that has the potential to have a dramatic effect on the vicious custody battle between Mel and Oksana over their daughter.
A second source confirmed to RadarOnline.com that DCFS has already been active in the domestic violence probe.

Oksana’s 12-year-old son Alexander is also expected to be interviewed, we’ve learned.
Alexander, also known as Sasha, whose father is James Bond star Timothy Dalton, witnessed Mel's alleged attack on his mother on January 6 during an altercation in which the actor allegedly punched Oksana in the face, knocking out her two front teeth.

The source said Alexander "saw it all", including Oksana's claim that Mel pulled a gun on her.
In Family Court in Los Angeles on Thursday, as attorneys for both Oksana and Gibson met in a closed session with a judge over custody issues involving Lucia, a DCFS lawyer waited in the hall but was not called into the courtroom.

What? Is it normal to tape and record every arguement we have with our spouses for future proof? Come on this was all planned!!! This is so low, not only to do this but to take the man's reputation down also.

I hope it becomes normal to tape when partner gets that crazy. That is not normal fighting. If you fight that way, you need the clear light of day upon you. Abuse thrives in privacy and isolation. Take responsibility.

It's an ongoing problem with Russian women. Look up info on Russian Brides. They do anything to get a wealthy American man. Than they abuse the crap out of them looking for divorce and cash to take home.

She did nicely for herself till involved with Mel. All live-in relationships have economic and power undertones. He likes young women, she likes powerful men. Pretty normal. Are you xenophobic?

Just another Russian girl, hooked an American man, take half his fortune and go back to Russia and become one of the wealthy. It happens all the time. She probably drove him to it. Think these women are trained..

The baby and her son should be removed from her custody. She is not a good mother, whether or not Mel is an abuser or the tapes were doctored....and I believe they were. No over talking or arguing, not normal.

Educate yourself about abuse before you judge so vehemently. Really, google "symptoms of domestic violence" and you will see why it usually unfolds this way. Or is it easier to just blame the victim?

The real question should be is she an unfit mother for not reporting a felony or did she cause intentionally or inadvertently the baby's bruise? The eyes of the law should be on her!!!!

If my baby's daddy ever hit her, he would be in jail so fast it would make ur head spin.SO why didn't she report it? I think the baby flipped out of the baby seat, as my friend's did and had the same bruise.

Excuses for an abuser: She's a ho, she's a golddigger, she's ugly, she's lying, she's out to "get"me, she's a BAD mother, she's manipulative, she's nuts, she's uppity, she's lazy. Sound familiar?
