The American Idol winner and her hockey star husband married at The Ritz-Carlton, Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia.
Security was beyond tight for the all-star list of guests which included Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul.

Carrie's country music friends Faith Hill and Randy Jackson, and Garth Brooks were also there. So were numerous members of both families.

How pathetic to judge someone you don't know based completely on their looks?!
In actual fact, Mike is super sweet, down to earth and genuine and any woman should consider themselves lucky to have a guy like him! And he's HOT to boot!

I am from Greensboro, GA and I have lived here my whole life. It was so exciting to have something like this happen here in our small town. Just can't believe they picked Greensboro to get married. Congrats to them both!

She is a good "country" girl who despite fame, did not lose her head. They could have gotten married anywhere in the world but she kept it simple. A class act! Wish them the very best!
