Police Investigating Mel Gibson For Domestic Violence After Oksana Filed Complaint

After RadarOnline.com revealed Mel Gibson told his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva she "f--cking deserved" to get hit, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has launched a domestic violence investigation after Oksana filed a complaint.
The investigation started on Monday when the victim made a complaint, L.A. County Sheriff spokesperson Steve Whitmore told RadarOnline.com. In the new tape recording, a teary Grigorieva can be heard asking the 54-year-old actor what he thinks he is doing hitting her while she is holding their eight-month-old child Lucia.

The allegations stem from a January incident at the actor’s Malibu mansion.
"What kind of man is that who would hit a woman while she is holding a child in her hands, hitting her twice in the face?” questions the Russian musician.

The Braveheart star answers: "You know what -- you f***ing deserved it."
Now the Sheriff's Dept. has confirmed its investigators are "currently gathering information regarding the allegations."
In a statement to RadarOnline.com, Lt. Richard Erikson said: "An investigation of domestic violence was launched by Malibu/Lost Hills Station Detectives in July, 2010, involving actor Mel Gibson and his former girlfriend, Oksana Grigoieva. The Detective in charge of the investigation is currently gathering information regarding the allegations. Due to the investigation being preliminary in nature, no other information is available at this time."

If someone was talking to me like that I sure wouldn't be so calm. Sounds like she was setting him up, but that doesn't really excuse his ranting. She dropped the f bomb a few times herself.

The way the information on these tapes has been disseminated just smells. How do we know these tapes are not fabricated from multiple clips? She could be faking her side of the conversation for all we know...

Not everyone tapes for blackmail and money. Who would believe anything she says against the perfect Mel if she would not have taped him? I rest my case on this one. I think thats her reasoning.

TMZ is reporting that investigators are seriously questioning Oksana's credibility based on the fact they had well respected judges and attorneys handling their custody settlement and this issue never came to light.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... they have "serious concerns" over Oksana Grigorieva's credibility in connection with her domestic violence claim against Mel Gibson ... because, we're told, she had money on the brain before making her claim.

If he did hit her I have no sympathy for him, but if she's hit him etc as well, she deserves the same punishment.
