The Telephone singer, who was also once a student at Convent of the Sacred Heart, was clad in her usual over-the-top garb, pairing a lace body suit and a veil of black lace with towering platforms.

Even for formal occasions, don’t ever expect the Paparazzi singer to play it low-key. She told UK TV host Jonathan Ross in March that she believes celebrities need to be on 24/7 to keep their mystique intact.

"You see legendary people taking out their trash, I think it's destroying show business," she said. "I'd never give up my wigs and hats for anything. I would rather die than have my fans not see me in a pair of high heels."
