EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Heidi Montag's Dad: She Didn't Tell Me About Marriage Split

Heidi Montag marched to a courtroom in Santa Monica and handwrote her marriage separation forms on Tuesday, and RadarOnline.com has learned that she didn’t even tell her father what she was up to.

When asked if he talked to Heidi about the filing, Bill Montag told RadarOnline.com: “No, I haven’t.”
He went on to say, “I have not been in touch with her vocally about any of this, so I don’t know what’s really going on.”

Heidi filed for legal separation from her husband Spencer Pratt, citing
“irreconcilable differences.” A legal separation means Heidi’s earnings from
this point forward will be hers alone. A source said Heidi complained that Spencer was spending all of her money.
Her actions come after a much-publicized break-up two weeks ago when Heidi moved out of their Pacific Palisades home.

The couple has been married since April 2009 and has a penchant for publicity stunts, and whether or not this is one remains to be seen. She did bring along photographers Tuesday to capture the Kodak moment.

I cannot stand Heidi or Spencer---but if you guys insist on shoving them into our face, I wish Heidi had her old face. I liked it better than the plastic, permanent fake one she has now.

She didn't tell him because it's all for publicity. Filing for a seperation means nothing. You can recend it at any time. She called the press before she headed to the court to file....it's all a hoax..to keep their name in the media.

If they were really separating, wouldn't Spencer be trashing her in the press? We all know what an angry little TROLL he is!!
