EXCLUSIVE: Heidi Montag Pratt Has Filed For Legal Separation, Is Worried About Her Money

The much publicized break-up between Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt has reached a new level of insanity.

RadarOnline.com has learned that Heidi filed for legal separation Tuesday morning.

But in classic Heidi fashion—she showed up at the wrong court. She first went to the county courthouse in Malibu when she needed to be in the one in Santa Monica. Heidi filed without the help of an attorney, which is highly unusual.
“As far as she’s concerned the marriage is over.” a source tells RadarOnline.com.

Heidi cited “irreconcilable differences” in her petition.
She also said there are “no such assets or debts subject to disposition by the court,” which could imply that the couple has a prenuptial agreement.
And then at the end add this to very end of story.
Other sources, however, remain skeptical about if this is real.
“She’s not quite ready to file for divorce. She had great concern for her finances; Spencer has been spending what she considers to be her money.” California law states the date that you separate ends community property.
The Hills stars are a walking controversy--Heidi for her 10 surgeries in one day, Spencer for his tirades and his bizarre addictions to crystals.

They are under fire for making up a break up so they are doing something to make it appear real! They are known liars!! All the gossip websites need to ban together and not post any stories about them!!

I thought they had a big laugh over the separation reports a couple of weeks ago. No one is going to believe it now until it's all over but the crying.

rofl yeah I'm still not buying it! Maybe if the paps stopped giving these 2 an outlet for their insanity, they would get a clue and go away. Hollywood doesn't take them seriously and they're an insult to REAL talented actors out there

LOL...legal seperation means nothing. They probably figured out that if they filed for legal seperation, it would look more authentic and less like a stunt. They will have a "makeup" show no doubt.
