Heartthrob Channing Tatum is currently filming the new movie Cheaters with funnyman Vince Vaughn, but RadarOnline.com has discovered he is anything but!

The actor dined with his wife, actress Jenna Dewan, Sunday night at Chicago’s trendy restaurant Le Colonial, and an eyewitness tells RadarOnline.com the couple looked “really happy together” and Channing was “ridiculously polite.”

“He [Channing] was really nice to anyone that approached him and was talking about how rewarding he finds it to be working in the film industry,” the insider said. “He said thank you a million times and called the bartender ‘sir’. You can tell he’s a southern gentleman.”

A romantic at heart, Channing told RadarOnline.com at his Dear John premiere that he often writes love notes to his wife. “I write them a lot to be totally honest,” Channing said. “I just write little notes and put them all around the house.”
Cheaters -- directed by Ron Howard -- also stars Kevin James, Winona Ryder, and Michael Patrick Thornton, better known as Dr. Gabriel Fife on ABC's Private Practice.
