Cyndi Lauper wasn’t having any fun Sunday night, as the 80s pop star was fired from NBC's Celebrity Apprentice.

The newly-scrambled teams Tenacity (Lauper, Holly Robinson Peete, Bret Michaels) and Rock Solid (Sharon Osbourne, Curtis Stone, Maria Kanelis) were assigned to take an apartment and renovate it to be marketable to executives. Lauper and Robinson Peete were at each other’s throats most of the episode, and Rock Solid proved to be a better business trio, leading to Tenacity's loss.

All three Tenacity members looked equally vulnerable in the boardroom scene, as the diplomatic Michaels tried to play peacemaker while Lauper and Robinson Peete continued to squabble. Trump eventually determined that Lauper, who admitted that the popular decision for her to paint one of the rooms red was actually not her idea, but Robinson Peete's, made the most business gaffes throughout the project, and fired her.

Lauper was upset following her ouster, comparing the boardroom to "f****** high school!" as Michaels tried to make peace with her on the way out.
Celebrity Apprentice airs on NBC Sundays at 9/8c.

Trump needs to bring Cyndi back, an unprecedented move on his part. Peete has had it for Cyndi from day 1. Perhaps she is not keen on Cyndi's cause? A bit homophobic perhaps? BRING BACK CYNDI!!!!!

Cyndi should not have been fired. Holly blew the apartment design. It was not appropriate for a NYC executive temporary housing. Cyndi's room was here energy and design and it rocked!

Big mistake in firing Cyndi Lauper. She's very creative and they're going to find out that they will fail without her. There is nothing about Holly that I like, She's too bossy. Seems to me she wants attention.

Getting fired because you were painfully honest is completely contradictory of what it means to win a task. Trumps, were truly not professional at all. It was like a soup opera. Trump Jr. turned it into a cirucus and his father followed.

Lost alot of respect for Donald Trump Jr. & Sr. Holly, did not win the task. Very simple logic. Cindy, was the creative genius and Holly, did a horrible job with the corporate apartment.

Holly is one of those women another woman would NEVER want to work for. She is overbearing and pushy and she will throw anyone under the bus to get what she wants. Cyndi should never of been fired. Should have been Holly.
